However they had bill clinton, john kerry and even JFK (remember his affairs) under a microscrope.
None of their families were off limits for the republicans, infact they were prime targets. slander, libel and invasion of privacy are entirely normal for republicans yet sharply criticized any time a democrat does it, although democrats rarely have to actually resort to slander or libel, as republicans present a truth so unflattering any libel or slander would be fairly pointless, like for instance calling them warmongers wouldn’t be libel/slander because it happens to be true, they are actively doing it in 2 countries, and passively warmongering (if there is such a thing) in several other countries like iran, russia and to a lesser extent syria, lebanon and north korea.
Another example was the crap about john kerry being a coward for gettign discharged for 3 purple hearts... yet the fact that bush was a draft dodger was off limits and ”irrelevent”.
Another axample clinton’s and JFK’s affairs sharply criticized, clinton’s is even to this say. yet a republican politican has an affair, or fools around with some minor in some way (i think one case was online with the intent of meeting, i believe this was a year or two ago) theres some outrage, but ultimately its largely forgotten and rarely anything comes of it, not like what happened to clinton; getting impeached for lying about a blowjob.
